Designers Block 2007 was my first exhibition for ceramics in London. I collaborated with Reiko Kaneko to set up our exhibition which took over a whole week of preparation since we hand cut all the wall murals,designed our own display boxes and painted the entire space. Nowadays we set up an exhibition in a matter of hours. I do think with nostalgia about the old days where we were starting up and really making such a supreme effort in everything. We still do now, but back then it felt like a lot harder work somehow!
